2205 Duplex Stainless Steel

2205 stainless steel is a duplex stainless steel with a balanced austenitic-ferritic microstructure, designed to provide superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Its high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content ensures outstanding corrosion resistance, while its duplex structure delivers nearly twice the strength of standard austenitic stainless steels.
