Channel
Channel is a structural stainless steel profile with a U-shaped cross-section, formed by hot rolling or cold forming to consistent flange and web dimensions, supplied to ASTM A276 / EN 10088-3 in 304 and 316L grades etc
304 channel offers a strong combination of structural rigidity, corrosion resistance and fabrication flexibility for general structural frameworks; 316L channel is selected where chloride exposure in marine or chemical-processing environments requires added corrosion resistance
