Hex Bar
Hex bar is a precision stainless steel product with a six-sided cross-section, produced by hot rolling or cold drawing to ASTM A276 dimensional tolerances in 304 and 431 grades etc
Its hexagonal profile is well suited to high-speed machining, offering consistent chucking grip and reduced material waste compared with round bar when producing hex-shaped parts. 304 hex bar covers general-purpose fastener and fitting production; 431 martensitic hex bar adds higher strength for precision-machined shafts and fasteners in marine and pump applications
